BANA
BANA – The Black Agencies Network Association of South Africa – is a collaborative business to business network and advocacy group whose sole purpose is to increase the slice of business for 100% Black-owned and majority Black-run agencies in the Advertising and Communications industry, reported to be less than 2% of R58 billion of traditional advertising spend as per the latest estimates.
BANA champions the acceleration of transformation in the Advertising and Communications industry through building of a competent and coherent network of Black-owned and Black-run agencies, advocating for policy changes at government level, lobbying the advertisers to include BANA network in pitches, and collaboration with all key stakeholders in the creation of a conducive environment for sustained growth of Black-owned and Black-run agencies in the Advertising and Communications industry.
